What is eddy current loss

Definition of eddy's current loss:

According to faradays law of electromagnetic induction, when a magnetic material is exposed to a magnetic field generated by alternating current, an EMF is generated in the core material. The magnetic material is electrically conductive, and the induced emf in the material causes current to flow through it. Within the material, the current circulates. Eddy currents are the circulating current caused by induced EMF. Eddy current loss is the heat loss caused by eddy currents in the magnetic material. Eddy currents are the circulating current caused by induced EMF. Eddy current loss is the heat loss caused by eddy currents.
