Humidity sensors offer numerous advantages in terms of Accurate moisture measurement, Preventing mold and mildew, Optimal comfort, Energy efficiency, Process control, Weather forecasting, Electronic device, and various applications. Disadvantages of the capacitive humidity sensor

Advantages of Resistive RH sensor
  • Low cost.
  • Small size.
  • The signal circuit and the sensor may be located far apart.
  • Since there are no calibration standards, they are very interchangeable.

Disadvantages of Resistive RH sensor

  • Sensitive to chemical vapours and other pollutants are resistive RH sensors.
  • The output readings may shift if used with soluble products.
Advantages of the thermal humidity sensor
  • Suitable for high-temperature environments and high-corrosive situations.
  • It is very durable.
  • Higher resolution compared to other types.
Disadvantages of Thermal Humidity Sensor
  • Exposure to any gas with thermal properties different than nitrogen might affect the reading measurement.

  • Suitable for high-temperature environments and high-corrosive situations.
  • Very durable.
  • High resolution compared to other types.
Disadvantages of thermal conductivity humidity sensors
  • Exposure to any gas with thermal properties different than nitrogen might affect reading measurements.
