Zigbee vs z wave

What is Zigbee?

While in Zigbee a specification for a set of wireless protocols that have been designed for data transfer by low power devices. It is based on the IEEE 802.15 standard format.

What is a z wave?

Z Wave is a remote correspondence convention that is principally used to interface and trade control orders and information in keen home organizations.

Zigbee vs Z wave | Difference between zigbee and z wave:

  1. Z wave provides a simple system that can be easily set up by itself, whereas ZigBee requires some power and can last up to seven years on a single set of batteries.
  2. Z wave communication is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of technology, while Zigbee communication is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of technology.
  3. Z wave is more expensive than Zigbee, while the ZigBee is cheaper than Z wave.
  4. Z wave user sub1G band, while the Z wave uses 2.4 GHz band.
  5. Z wave transmits 50m distance, while Zigbee transmits 100m distance.
  6. Zwave is a protocol for communication between devices used for home automation, while Zigbee is an open standard wireless connection.
  7. Zigbee is GFSK modulation technology used, Z wave is BPSK, OQPSKmodulation technology is used.
  8. Z wave is no international standard, while Zigbee is an international standard.
  9. Z wave is used for building automation, remote control, smart energy for home energy monitoring, health care for medical and fitness monitoring, while the ZigBee is used simple remote control, medical applications, gaming, home automation, control, and automation.
