What is SDRAM?

Dynamic random access memory, also known as Synchronous dynamic random access memory(SDRAM), is a variety that has gained popularity in computing due to its quick speed. Samsung introduced SDRAM for the first time in 1993. Even though SDRAM is cheap and has a simple design, the manufacturing process is very challenging. To function, SDRAM requires more power. They are a type of dynamic random access memory and require frequent data refreshing. However, SDRAMs are more effective. Being a synchronous memory, it is synchronized with the CPU clock. It is able to perform operations that are more complex than those of a typical DRAM as a result.

What is RAM?

RAM is an abbreviation for random access memory. It enables users to perform data read and write operations. It is referred to as transferred memory because the data stored in it is only valid while the power supply is turned on. The operating system files and current data for the computer are stored in RAM memory storage, which makes use of a semiconductor component.
